OK Movement reaffirms support for Peter Obi ahead of 2027 elections

The National Executive Council of the OK Movement convened on Wednesday to meet with Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), as they solidified their commitment to achieving victory in the upcoming 2027 general elections.
The meeting, led by Hon. John Ughulu, Director-General of the OK Movement, focused on strategies for mobilization and the movement's role in the NDC's presidential campaign. Key figures in attendance included National Secretary Saadatu Mohammed Sanni, National Director of Administration and HR Mrs. Aisha Aliyu Abdulrahman, and National Director of Operations Hon. Francis Nnodi. Additionally, zonal coordinators such as Chris Elijah (South-South), Adefolaseye Adebayo (South-West), and Alhaji Sulaiman Abubakar (North-Central) were present to discuss grassroots engagement.
During the meeting, the leadership of the OK Movement reiterated their dedication to the Obi-Kwankwaso ticket, emphasizing the importance of grassroots mobilization and voter engagement as critical components of their strategy. They expressed a strong resolve to work diligently towards securing a win for Peter Obi and his running mate, Rabi'u Kwankwaso, under the NDC platform.
The OK Movement, which is primarily composed of supporters of Obi and Kwankwaso, has been actively involved in rallying support and coordinating efforts across various regions of Nigeria.
