Tragic death of freed minor highlights ongoing abductions in Kaduna community
A 13-year-old girl dies shortly after being freed from captivity, as new abductions occur.

In a heartbreaking turn of events, a 13-year-old girl named Hasana Bulus passed away just one day after her release from captivity in Kaduna State. Hasana had been held by her abductors for seven months following her kidnapping from her home in Awon village, Kachia Local Government Area, on April 20, 2026.
Reuben Buhari, a former aide to the late Kaduna State governor Patrick Ibrahim Yakowa, provided details about Hasana's ordeal. Unfortunately, she succumbed to her injuries the very next day, highlighting the severe trauma and suffering she endured during her captivity.
