The PBAT Door-to-Door Movement has officially launched its Ogun State chapter, spearheaded by High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo, widely known as Tompolo. The inauguration took place on October 30, 2026, at the Ake Palace Arcade in Abeokuta, marking a significant step in the movement's efforts to bolster grassroots political engagement ahead of the 2027 general elections.

During the event, Tompolo donated 26 campaign vehicles aimed at enhancing the movement's outreach across the state. High Chief Kestin Pondi, the Managing Director of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited, represented Tompolo at the inauguration. He highlighted that these vehicles would be strategically deployed across the 26 constituencies in Ogun State to facilitate community engagement and voter mobilization.

Pondi expressed optimism about President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's economic reforms, describing them as crucial for national progress. He acknowledged the current economic challenges but emphasized that the administration's policies are designed to yield long-term benefits for the country.

Ogun State's Deputy Governor, Engr. Noimot Salako-Oyedele, who represented Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun, praised the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement for its proactive role in promoting political participation within the state. Salako-Oyedele's remarks underscored the importance of such initiatives in galvanizing support for the ruling party and its candidates.

Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, the APC governorship candidate, also spoke at the event, revealing that political stakeholders are aiming for a target of two million votes for President Tinubu in the upcoming presidential election. This ambitious goal reflects the movement's commitment to mobilizing significant support for the party.

The National Coordinator of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement, Sunday Asuku, reiterated the movement's dedication to collaborating with other political support groups nationwide. The Ogun State launch is part of a broader strategy to engage voters and strengthen the party's presence across the country as the 2027 elections approach.
