In a provocative statement, Isaac Precious, a self-proclaimed end-time preacher from Nigeria, has stirred controversy by declaring that lipgloss is a deceptive tool designed to lead women, referred to as "daughters of Zion," to hell. This claim was made in a Facebook post on October 5, 2026, where he elaborated on his beliefs regarding beauty products and their spiritual implications.

Precious contends that the enemy, presumably referring to Satan, is aware that many women of faith would shy away from brightly colored lipsticks. As a result, he argues, lipgloss was created as a more subtle alternative that could easily deceive them. He warned that those who use lipgloss are at risk of polluting their spiritual fire, stating, "Yes you might burn for God but your fire will be polluted (a polluted fire) and nothing polluted can see Heaven."

The preacher's comments have sparked a mix of reactions on social media, with many users expressing disbelief at the notion that a cosmetic product could have such dire spiritual consequences. Precious referenced biblical scripture, citing Acts 17:30, to support his assertions about the need for repentance and awareness of such temptations.

His post included a call for understanding among his followers, urging them to be vigilant against what he perceives as the enemy's tactics to distract and mislead. "This is satan's alternative of dragging many daughters of Zion to hell," he emphasized in his message, which has since gone viral.

The debate surrounding beauty standards and religious beliefs is not new in Nigeria, where many individuals grapple with the intersection of faith and personal expression. Precious's remarks add to the ongoing discourse about how women should present themselves in accordance with religious teachings.

As the conversation unfolds, it remains to be seen how this will impact the perceptions of beauty and spirituality among his followers and the broader community. Many are left questioning the implications of such statements on women's autonomy and the choices they make regarding their appearance.
