Senator Sharafadeen Alli, the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Oyo State, has initiated a comprehensive grassroots mobilization effort in preparation for the 2027 general elections. During an event held on Monday in Ibadan, he emphasized the party's readiness to secure victories across presidential, legislative, and gubernatorial elections in the state.

At the inauguration of Local Government Campaign Managers for the BSA/Adedeji team, Alli called on party members to intensify their efforts in all 33 local government areas. He highlighted the importance of establishing strong connections with voters and ensuring that the APC's presence is felt in every community.

Alli stated, "We are strategically positioned to win the presidential, National Assembly, governorship and House of Assembly elections in Oyo State in 2027. But victory requires hard work at the grassroots. We must go to the people, engage them and strengthen our structures across the state."

The newly appointed campaign managers were tasked with the crucial role of converting the party's existing structures into effective grassroots networks. Alli urged them to view their roles as a call to service, emphasizing that ongoing engagement with party members and supporters is vital for the APC's campaign strategy.

He further stressed the need for unity and collaboration among party leaders and members, asserting that collective efforts would be essential to achieve the party's electoral goals. "This is not about individuals. It is about the party and our collective responsibility to build a stronger APC in Oyo State," he remarked.

The Director-General of the Senator Sharafadeen Alli Campaign Organisation (SSACO), Yemi Aderibigbe, echoed Alli's sentiments, describing the inauguration as a significant step in the APC's preparations for the upcoming elections. He expressed confidence in the party's ability to organize effectively and urged members to work cohesively to strengthen the party's structures across the state.
