Wigwe University has officially announced the deadlines for tuition fee payments for the upcoming 2026/2027 academic session, distinguishing between new and returning students. Freshers are required to complete their fee payments by October 3, 2026, while returning students have until October 10, 2026 to fulfill their payment obligations.

The university's announcement emphasizes the importance of adhering to these deadlines to ensure a smooth registration process and uninterrupted access to academic activities. Freshers, who are new to the institution, face an earlier deadline to allow the university adequate time to process their enrolment before the academic session begins.

Students are encouraged to carefully note which category they belong to and plan their payments accordingly to avoid any complications. The clear communication from the university aims to facilitate a seamless transition into the new academic year for all students.

In addition to the payment deadlines, Wigwe University has also introduced a 60% tuition fee discount under its Founder's Scholarship for the 2026/2027 academic year. This scholarship is available to students across all four colleges within the university, including Arts, Engineering, Management and Social Sciences, and Science and Computing. This initiative aims to support students financially and encourage higher enrollment rates.

As the academic session approaches, students are reminded to stay informed about the necessary requirements and deadlines to ensure their academic journey begins without hitches.
