Lady Calls Out Man for Touching Her Thigh Inside A Bus
Lady confronted a man after he was caught rubbing her thigh with his hand on a public bus.
In this day and age, with all the technology we have, it’s honestly shocking that women still face sexual harassment. Just saw a video of an older guy, probably in his late 50s, rubbing a young woman’s thigh on public transport. Eww, even as a man, I felt immediate discomfort watching that can’t even imagine how the girl must feel.
Another lady commenting on the trending video, shared her own personal experience:
I remember When I was traveling from Benin to Asaba few years ago, I was sitting by the window. The man next to me was an older, very respectable looking man. He was wearing a sharp, expensive looking Senator material. He looked like somebody's strict father or a church elder.About thirty minutes into the trip, he clossed his eyes and started nodding off. Slowly, his shoulder pressed into mine. Then, his hand slipped off his knee and landed right on my thigh.
I quickly shifted away and pushed his hand off. "Daddy. Excuse me," I said trying to be polite.
He opened his eyes, looking very shocked. "Ah, sorry my daughter. This road is just too rough. I was deep in thought."
I just nodded and plugged in my earphones. But after about an hour, it happened again. His head dropped heavily onto my shoulder and this time his hand dropped on my lap too and his fingers curled into the fabric of my jeans.
I was furious. I forcefully shoved him off me. "Oga, what is your problem? Why are you touching me?"
He jolted upright, his face squeezed into a scowl. "Are you mad? Who is touching you have you no respect for yout elders?'
"You were literally rubbing my lap right now! You are not sleeping." I shouted, completely ignoring the fact that the whole bus was now turning to look at us.
Before I could even bring my phone to start recording, this man has flipped the whole thing.
Look at this useless Gen-Z rat!" he yelled, raising his voice that even passerby could hear. "I have a daughter older than you! I mistakenly dozed off because i have been in a crusade since fruday, and you are here shouting that i want to touch you? Touch wahr? Look at how you're even dressed!I was wearing a simple oversized vintage shirt and jeans, but that didn't matter, the moment he played the "elder" and "crusade" card, the entire bus turned on me.
My friend, will you keep quiet there! " a woman in the front seat shouted back at me. "Is it everytime you people will be shouting harassment? Did he tear your clothes? U was literally shaking with rage, fighting the tears that were already gathering. I couldn't way anything else. I just sat there for hours completely humiliated, while the useless man who tried touching me was having a fun filled ride.
