Man recounts resurrection experience attributed to Archbishop Benson Idahosa
Petri, a minister, shares his miraculous story of being raised from the dead at a church service in Benin City.

During a recent service at The Winlos Centre in Benin City, a minister named Petri shared a remarkable testimony of his resurrection, which he claims occurred when he was just five years old. The event was reportedly orchestrated by the late Archbishop Benson Idahosa, a prominent figure in the Christian community known for his miraculous works.
Petri's testimony was introduced by Apostle Ohis Ojeikere during an evening service themed "Apostolic Shift Day 2." Ojeikere described Petri as a living testament to Idahosa's enduring spiritual legacy. He noted that Petri's story is documented in the book Fire in His Bones, which chronicles the miracles attributed to Idahosa's ministry.
Recalling the incident from his childhood, Petri explained that he fell ill and became lifeless at the age of five. His father, a pastor who lived near the Faith Arena, the headquarters of the Church of God Mission International, rushed to the church where Idahosa was conducting a live conference. In a desperate moment, he broke through the crowd and implored Idahosa to help his son.
Idahosa, known for his calm demeanor, instructed the father to lay Petri's lifeless body on the altar. He then made a public declaration that he would call Petri's name and the boy would return to life. According to Petri, the first attempt yielded no result, but after Idahosa made a second, more forceful declaration and physically lifted him, Petri suddenly came back to life.
"He jacked me up. That was how I came back to life," Petri recounted, adding that Idahosa then showcased him to the congregation, affirming the miracle in front of the assembled worshippers.
In closing his testimony, Petri emphasized his significance as a miracle, stating, "I'm not just a testimony. I'm a living, breathing testimony of what God has done." This extraordinary account has reignited discussions surrounding the legacy of Archbishop Benson Idahosa, whose influence continues to resonate within the Christian community in Nigeria and beyond.
