Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo, the Regional Chairman of the Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN) for Barkin Ladi Local Government Area in Plateau State, has arrived in Israel to advocate for the plight of Christians facing violence in Nigeria. His visit, which he describes as his first international Christian advocacy tour, aims to draw attention to the alleged genocide of Christians in the Middle Belt region of Nigeria.

Dachomo landed in Israel on October 2, 2026, and is scheduled to meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, along with other world leaders. His agenda includes raising concerns about the ongoing insecurity and killings of Christians in Plateau State and across Nigeria. He expressed the urgency of his mission, citing the need for global leaders to recognize the persecution faced by Christians in the region.

In a post on his social media platforms, Dachomo emphasized the importance of this engagement, stating, "By the mercy of God, I will be addressing the world in Israel." He plans to meet with prayer warriors from various countries, including the United States, Canada, and France, to unite in prayer and raise awareness about the violence affecting Christians and other communities in Nigeria.

Dachomo noted that previous efforts by international leaders, such as former U.S. President Donald Trump, to speak out against the violence have inspired his current mission. He aims to bring the same level of attention to the situation in Nigeria, asserting that the government has been largely silent on the persecution of Christians while advocating for other international issues.

In his remarks, he highlighted the need for a balanced approach to advocacy, stating, "If my government stands to advocate for the Palestinians, then there should be equal representation for Christians in Nigeria, as we are suffering under Sharia law."

Dachomo also expressed his intention to pray for all affected communities, including Muslims in northern Nigeria, and called for divine intervention against the violence perpetrated by Fulani terrorists. He stated, "When I land in Jerusalem, the demonic manipulation from the Kingdom of Islam will suffer violence through prayer."

This visit underscores the ongoing challenges faced by religious communities in Nigeria and the need for international attention and support to address the escalating violence and insecurity in the region.
