A 14-year-old Georgia girl has been sentenced to life in prison after m+rd3ring her mother following an abandoned plan to carry out a school sh@@ting.

Lilyana Rose Wagner shot her 51-year-old mother, Rachel Wagner, in the back of the head while she was in bed in November 2024.

The case came to light after Wagner crashed her mother's car. Police later found her mother d+ad in bed.

According to District Attorney Patrick Warren, Wagner later wrote a handwritten confession in which she admitted that she had planned to carry out a school sh@@ting at her former middle school but changed her mind and killed her mother instead.

She reportedly wrote that the planned attack had been "inspired" by six mass sh@@ters, whose identities were not disclosed.

Investigators also discovered that Wagner had developed an extensive online presence focused on planning a mass-casualty attack and had communicated with anonymous individuals who encouraged her to commit m+rder.

The teenager had purchased the firearm used in the k+lling from a pawn shop about a month before the incident.

Wagner pleaded guilty and will be eligible for parole after serving 30 years in prison.

The district attorney said the case had "no winners," noting that Rachel was d+ad while Wagner would spend decades behind bars.
