In a strategic move to bolster party unity ahead of the 2027 elections, Barrister Mohammed Abdullahi Abubakar, the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for Bauchi State, convened a meeting with House of Representatives aspirants on Wednesday. The gathering aimed to strengthen cohesion among party members following the recently concluded primaries.

The meeting, chaired by Usman Gital, brought together various aspirants who contested for different House of Representatives seats.
