Social media activist VeryDarkMan has unveiled a significant educational project in Ahoada, Rivers State, where approximately N290 million has been invested in the construction of a secondary school. In a recent viral video, he showcased various completed sections of the school, including classrooms, a school clinic, a football field, and a perimeter fence, emphasizing his commitment to quality and accountability in the project’s execution.

During the video tour, VeryDarkMan highlighted the high standards of construction, asserting that no substandard materials were used. He pointed out the tiled floors, doors, and walls, stating that only minor finishing touches were needed before the project reaches full completion. He expressed pride in the facility, challenging the government to present a public school that could rival its quality.

VeryDarkMan's announcement comes alongside the revelation that he plans to launch a new political party called the Ratel political party. He encouraged Nigerians to prepare to support the party in upcoming elections, linking the school project to his political ambitions. "Very soon, the Ratel political party is coming, so be ready to vote for us because there’s no government project that is better than what we’ve done here," he stated.

The funding for the school project has been attributed to donations, with notable contributions from Nigerian music star Burna Boy, who was reportedly asked to oversee the rebuilding efforts. VeryDarkMan acknowledged Burna Boy's support, stating that the musician's involvement was crucial in bringing the project to its current stage. To honor this contribution, plans are in place to feature Burna Boy’s image on a section of the school, complete with lighting enhancements.

In his remarks, VeryDarkMan underscored the importance of transparency and integrity in managing public funds. He promised that every naira spent on the project would be accounted for, reinforcing his belief that credibility cannot be bought.
