In a significant show of democracy, leaders from the All Progressives Congress (APC) have expressed their satisfaction with the large voter turnout during the ongoing Osun governorship election. Babatunde Ayeni, a former member of the House of Representatives, highlighted the impressive turnout after casting his vote at Ward 10, Unit 13 in Ilesa West Local Government Area. He commended the Federal Government for creating an enabling environment that allowed citizens to exercise their right to vote without fear. Ayeni also dismissed allegations of vote-buying, asserting that the APC's popularity negates the need for such practices. He expressed confidence that Bola Oyebamiji, the party’s governorship candidate, would secure victory in the election.

Senator Francis Fadahunsi, representing the Osun East Senatorial District, echoed Ayeni's sentiments. After voting at Unit 1, Ward 4 in Ilase-Ijesa, Fadahunsi praised the turnout, urging more eligible voters to participate in the electoral process. He noted that the atmosphere at his polling unit was encouraging, with many citizens actively engaging in the voting exercise.

Former state House of Assembly member Olatunbosun Oyintiloye also commented on the peaceful conduct of the election. After casting his vote, he remarked on the large number of voters present, indicating a healthy interest in the democratic process among the electorate.
