Engr. Kayode Adereti, the deputy governorship candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State, and his wife, Princess Adebukola Adereti, participated in the ongoing governorship election by casting their votes at Ward 11, Unit 3, Ilare, located in the Ife Central Local Government Area on Saturday.

After voting, Adereti expressed satisfaction with the voter turnout, describing it as "impressive." He commended the security agencies for their role in ensuring a peaceful atmosphere across various polling units during the election. The presence of security personnel was noted to have contributed to the orderly conduct of the electoral process, allowing voters to exercise their rights without fear.

Adereti also praised the performance of the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS), which he said operated smoothly throughout the accreditation process.
