Husband and wife found d£ad in remote cottage in suspected murd£r-su!cide
A husband and wife were tragically found dead in a remote cottage, suspected to be a murder-suicide. Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding this heartbreaking incident.
Detectives are investigating a suspected murd£r-su!cide amid claims a tree surgeon k!lled his wife and then k!lled himself.
Stacy Mair, 35, and her husband Jim, 43, were found de@d in their remote cottage on the outskirts of Renfrewshire, Scotland.
Police are treating both their d£aths as unexplained as a post-mortem takes place.
The couple, who were married in 2019, both worked for TRS Tree Surgery, based in Glasgow.
Their home was surrounded by detectives and officers carrying out forensic examinations. They closed off all the surrounding roads.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "An investigation is ongoing into the de@ths of a 35-year-old woman and a 43-year-old man in the Houston area.
"Around 7.50am on Monday, 27 July we received a report of concern for a person in Corsliehill Road.
"Emergency services attended, and the body of a man and a woman were found nearby.
"The de@ths are being treated as unexplained and post-mortem examinations will be carried out in due course.
"Extensive enquiries are continuing to establish the full circumstances. At this time, there is nothing to suggest anyone else has been involved.
"Their relatives are aware and are being supported by specialist officers."
