The lawmaker warned that the continued absence of visible consequences for the perpetrators is rapidly eroding public confidence and emboldening those who believe violence can be deployed as a political tool.

He therefore called on the Nigeria Police Force and all relevant security agencies to rise above any perception of bias and act decisively to identify, arrest, and prosecute those responsible without fear or favour.

"Political contests will come and go, but human lives are irreplaceable. No ambition is worth the blood of our people," the lawmaker declared.

While extending his heartfelt thoughts and prayers to the parents and loved ones of the deceased teenager, Adeyemi demanded an immediate end to the culture of impunity in Osun State.

He insisted that the tragedy must not become another unresolved chapter in the state's growing history of political violence.

"This is the time for justice. This is the time for accountability. This is the time to demonstrate that nobody is above the law. Let peace prevail. Let justice be done," Adeyemi concluded.
