Troops from the Joint Task Force North West, known as Operation FANSAN YAMMA, have successfully arrested a suspected terrorist in Kaduna State. The suspect, identified as Auta Maikyala, was apprehended during an intelligence-led operation in Kagarko town on Thursday, as confirmed by security analyst Zagazola Makama.

Maikyala was reportedly seeking medical treatment for a gunshot wound sustained during a confrontation with a rival group when he was captured. Additionally, the Air Component of the Nigerian Air Force has executed precision airstrikes against locations associated with the notorious terrorist leader Dogo Gide in the Babban Doka and Kuyumbana Forest areas of Maru Local Government Area. These air operations were initiated based on credible intelligence that indicated terrorists were gathering to plan attacks.
