His graduation marks not just the end of his undergraduate journey but also a celebration of numerous scholarships and awards he garnered during his four years of study.

In a heartfelt LinkedIn post shared in October 2026, Kolawole reflected on his transformative experience at UNILORIN. He expressed gratitude for his academic journey, stating, "A few years ago, I walked into UNILORIN as a young boy with big dreams and more questions than answers. Today, I'm walking out a graduate."

Throughout his time at the university, Kolawole distinguished himself academically and received several prestigious scholarships. He was awarded the Zeribe Nwosu Foundation Scholarship twice, first in August 2024 during his first year and again in August 2026 in his final year. One of the highlights of his academic career was being the sole recipient from UNILORIN of the Prof. Abayomi Oluwatosín Jiboku Foundation Chemistry Research Grant, awarded in April 2026. This grant was part of a competitive selection process that included 20 students from across Nigeria, showcasing Kolawole's exceptional capabilities in the field of chemistry.

Kolawole's achievements extend beyond scholarships; he was recognized for his innovative contributions to his department. He received the Ruthenium Award in September 2025 for being the most scientific and innovative student in the Department of Chemistry for the 2024/2025 academic session. Following this, he was named the Most Innovative Student for the 2025/2026 session by the Students' Chemical Society of Nigeria at UNILORIN.

His academic prowess was also evident in extracurricular activities.
