Walter Koenig, the renowned actor celebrated for his portrayal of Ensign Pavel Chekov in the iconic Star Trek series, has passed away at the age of 90. His death occurred at his residence in North Hollywood, with family members, including his daughter and niece, by his side, as confirmed by his agent, Zachery McGinnis.

Koenig's passing has elicited heartfelt tributes from fans and colleagues alike. George Takei, who starred alongside him in Star Trek, took to social media to express his sorrow over the loss.
