Blessing CEO emerges from Kirikiri prison after months of legal battles
Nollywood actress Doris Ogala shares video call with Blessing CEO following her release.

Controversial relationship influencer Blessing CEO, whose real name is Blessing Okoro Nkiruka, has reportedly been released from Kirikiri Medium Security Prison in Lagos after several months of detention. The news of her release surfaced on October 24, 2026, when Nollywood actress Doris Ogala shared a video call with Blessing CEO on Instagram, showing her in a vehicle and appearing relaxed and in good spirits.
Blessing CEO had been held in custody since June 2026, facing three separate cases brought against her by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). Two of these cases involve tenancy disputes related to properties in Lekki, with allegations amounting to over ₦105 million. The third case concerns donations she reportedly collected after claiming to have been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. Throughout her time in detention, she maintained her innocence, pleading not guilty to all charges.
Despite being granted bail in the property-related cases, complications regarding surety arrangements delayed her release, leaving her in prison for an extended period. Her time in custody was further marked by personal tragedy, as she lost her second son, Bryan, while still incarcerated.
Doris Ogala, in her Instagram post announcing Blessing CEO's release, expressed her joy, stating, "Blessing CEO is finally out thank you Jesus... Awwwww ajjeeeyyyy." The video call has since garnered mixed reactions from Nigerians, with some welcoming her back while others issued warnings about her future conduct.
Comedian Princewill, who visited Blessing CEO in prison just days before her release, had publicly called on human rights organizations and the Lagos State government to intervene in her situation, highlighting that at least one of the disputed sums had already been returned.
As of now, the official confirmation of Blessing CEO's release has yet to be provided by court or prison authorities. However, the circulating video and the reactions from her supporters indicate a significant moment in her ongoing legal battles and public life.
