Sai Masu Gida and Noisy Lagosians share points in thrilling draw
A 1-1 draw in Kano leaves Noisy Lagosians still searching for a win this season.

In a closely contested match at the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano, Sai Masu Gida and the Noisy Lagosians played to a 1-1 draw during the seventh matchday of the Nigeria Premier Football League on Saturday. The draw leaves the Lagos club still searching for their first victory of the season.
Valentine Ugwu shocked the home crowd by scoring for the visitors in first-half stoppage time, giving the Noisy Lagosians a surprising lead. However, Sai Masu Gida responded quickly after the break, with Abdullahi Musa finding the equalizer just three minutes into the second half, bringing the score to 1-1.
Both teams had numerous opportunities to secure the win, but neither could convert their chances into goals. The draw allowed Sai Masu Gida to maintain their unbeaten start to the season, pushing them to fifth place in the league standings. This result also marked a significant moment for the Kano club, ending their impressive home record where they had won 10 out of their last 11 matches.
On the other hand, the Noisy Lagosians, who began the match in ninth place with eight points, moved up to eighth following the draw. However, this result extended their winless streak to three matches, having previously drawn with Barau FC and played to a goalless draw against Ikorodu City.
Looking ahead, Sai Masu Gida will travel to Ibadan for their next match against Shooting Stars, while the Noisy Lagosians will host Bendel Insurance in their upcoming fixture, hoping to finally secure a win this season.
