Abu Dhabi is set to host the AI Everything Abu Dhabi summit on October 6-7, bringing together over 400 participants from more than 60 countries, including asset managers, investors, and AI companies. This event aims to highlight the emirate's significant investments in artificial intelligence infrastructure and its ambition to become the world’s first AI-native government by 2027.

The summit, taking place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), will feature more than 180 speakers, including notable figures such as Arthur Mensch, Co-founder and CEO of Mistral AI, and Marc Raibert, Founder of Boston Dynamics. This marks their first joint appearance in the UAE, where they will discuss topics like sovereign AI and industrial applications of the technology.

According to the organisers, over 200 investors managing assets worth $91 billion will attend the summit, coinciding with a global surge in AI spending, which is projected to reach $2.59 trillion this year—a 47% increase from 2025, as reported by Gartner.

Wesam Lootah, Director General of GovDigital at the Department of Government Enablement, expressed confidence in Abu Dhabi's AI strategy, stating, "Abu Dhabi will become the world’s first AI-native government next year, and the evidence is already clear in the way we’re redefining public services for millions of people and businesses." He emphasized the emirate's commitment to intelligent governance and invited global stakeholders to witness its implementation.

The summit will also showcase the UAE government's strategy that integrates computing infrastructure, AI research, and public-sector deployment. More than 50 government entities will participate, with over 100 AI use cases already operational across various public services. The government has launched a $3.54 billion investment program to support these initiatives.

Private-sector involvement is also significant, with companies like Solutions+, a Mubadala firm, emphasizing the operational aspects of AI deployment. Nasir Al Nabhani, Managing Director of Solutions+, stated that their goal is to bridge national ambitions with practical operational delivery.

G42, a leading AI company in Abu Dhabi, is promoting its “Intelligence Grid,” which combines various AI components to facilitate widespread adoption. Faheem Ahamed, Chief Marketing and Communications Officer at G42, remarked on the importance of making AI a reliable part of everyday life for citizens.

The summit will also feature major tech companies such as AWS, Alibaba Cloud, Intel, and Microsoft, with a combined market capitalization exceeding $10 trillion. Trixie LohMirmand, CEO of Ai Everything, highlighted the event's focus on the practical applications of AI in transforming industries and public services.

In addition to discussions and networking opportunities, the Technology Innovation Institute will present 23 demonstrations from nine research centers, showcasing advancements in areas such as energy, aerospace, and autonomous systems. Notably, the institute will introduce GeoAI, a machine-learning model designed for geological mapping, and its Falcon family of large language models, which is gaining recognition in the Arabic language processing domain.

As Abu Dhabi prepares for this landmark event, it aims to solidify its position as a leader in AI innovation and governance, inviting global stakeholders to explore the future of intelligent public services.
