The building, situated at No. 41 Popo Giwa Street, adjacent to Gogoro Mosque in the Ile Oyan Masalasi Gogoro area, crumbled in the early hours, prompting immediate action from local authorities. He stated, "Based on the situation report, now we’ve recovered four people dead and rescued four people alive."
