Former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello has made a significant impact on the life of aviation student Enejoh Faith by providing N30 million to support her training. This generous intervention has enabled Faith to overcome financial hurdles and move closer to her lifelong dream of becoming a pilot.

Faith and her family expressed their heartfelt gratitude during a visit to Bello's residence on Monday night, where they shared updates about her progress in the aviation program. The support came after Faith faced challenges in raising funds for her training, which she had secured admission for but could not afford due to financial constraints.

The journey began on July 17, 2025, when Faith and her father approached Bello to seek assistance. At that time, Faith was dressed in her aviation uniform and presented her admission letter along with other relevant documents to the former governor. Recognizing her potential and the obstacles she faced, Bello decided to cover the full cost of her training, which amounted to approximately N30 million. He even provided additional funds to account for any unforeseen financial challenges she might encounter during her studies.

According to a statement from Bello's spokesperson, Onogwu Muhammed, the support was part of the former governor's private scholarship initiatives aimed at assisting students in their educational pursuits. The program has successfully helped several individuals, with at least four students trained as pilots and many others receiving support for university studies both within Nigeria and abroad.

During the visit, Faith's father shared that his daughter had achieved an impressive score of 89 percent in her public pilot license examination, marking a significant milestone in her aviation career. He expressed deep appreciation for Bello's intervention, stating that the former governor had become a cherished member of their family.

Our family will continue to remember you," he said, reflecting on the anxiety the family faced before receiving the support. He added, "Before we came to your place, my Blood Pressure rose to 180. When we left, and I checked the next day, it came back to 130. If I had died that very day, I would have still died a happy and fulfilled man on earth.
