Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, is actively seeking to galvanize support for President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 presidential election. During the inauguration of the "Relax, Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria" support group in Kaduna, Sani emphasized the importance of reciprocating the perceived benefits of Tinubu’s administration with votes from the North-West region.

Speaking through his Special Adviser on Politics, Abubakar Mamadi, Sani highlighted the significant gains the North-West has made under Tinubu, particularly in sectors such as agriculture, education, youth empowerment, and women development. He stated, "No region has benefited under Tinubu’s administration like the North, particularly the seven states in the North-West region."

The governor's appeal comes as political activity intensifies across Nigeria in anticipation of the upcoming elections. He urged the newly inaugurated coordinators and members of the support group to mobilize voters across Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Jigawa, Sokoto, and Zamfara states, ensuring that the achievements of the federal government are communicated effectively to the grassroots.

Mike Auta, the convener of the support group, echoed Sani's sentiments, calling for a robust grassroots campaign that extends beyond urban centers. "Go to all nooks and crannies of the states and mobilize the people. We must ensure victory for President Tinubu come 2027," Auta urged.

The event also featured remarks from Karima Abdullai, the women leader of the group, who pointed out that women in the North-West have greatly benefited from cash assistance and empowerment programs initiated by the Tinubu administration. She encouraged women to rally behind the President's re-election, asserting that more women would gain from these initiatives if he secures a second term.

Additionally, Farida Bala, the Director of Town Hall Engagement and Special Duties, appealed for patience from the Nigerian populace, describing the administration's efforts as part of a larger process of national rebuilding. "Let us be honest with ourselves, rebuilding a nation is not easy; patience leads to progress, and progress leads to prosperity," Bala remarked, likening the endeavor to renovating a neglected house.

The Kaduna event marks the kickoff of a broader mobilization campaign across the North-West, aimed at securing support for Tinubu as the 2027 presidential election approaches. With the political landscape heating up, Sani's initiative seeks to solidify the North-West's backing for the current administration, emphasizing the need for unity and concerted effort in the coming months.
