Alaia Baldwin Aronow, the sister of Hailey Bieber, will avoid jail time in connection with a criminal assault and battery case stemming from a 2024 incident at a Savannah, Georgia, bar, according to court documents obtained by TMZ.

Prosecutors offered Aronow entry into a pre-trial diversion program that requires her to complete classes, pay fines and satisfy other conditions in exchange for avoiding incarceration. Aronow accepted the offer and paid the program fee, according to the documents.

Diversion programs are generally available to certain first-time or low-level offenders and can allow defendants to resolve criminal cases without serving jail time, provided they meet the program's requirements.

Aronow was arrested in March 2024 following a reported confrontation at a bar in Savannah. The bar's owner told police that Aronow caused a disturbance inside the venue and allegedly became physical with employees. According to allegations previously reported by TMZ, Aronow entered a staff bathroom and refused to leave after being told she needed to use the customer restroom.

Three employees alleged that Aronow became physical during the confrontation. One employee claimed Aronow pulled her hair, while another alleged that she was kicked in the groin. Another employee told police that she asked Aronow to leave the bathroom, after which Aronow allegedly threw a used tampon at her. The incident was described in contemporaneous coverage as "ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING."

Aronow was arrested on charges of simple assault, simple battery and trespassing. The allegations are not findings of guilt, and her acceptance into the diversion program allows her to avoid jail provided she complies with its conditions.
