President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has called on Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke to avoid stigmatizing political opponents and to work towards fostering unity within the state's diverse political landscape. Adeleke, who recently emerged victorious in the off-season governorship election as the Accord Party candidate, secured 511,067 votes, defeating his main rival from the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, who garnered 444,815 votes. Tinubu acknowledged Adeleke's effective political mobilization, which he credited for the governor's success in the elections.

In his address, Tinubu emphasized the importance of reconciliation and social harmony, urging Adeleke to embrace all political factions within the state. He stated, "Seek reconciliation, expand your coast. That is the only way you can give thanks to our people."
