Bishop Oyedepo has called out President Tinubu for his silence on the ongoing killings in Nigeria. He urged the government to take immediate action and stop pretending to be unaware of the violence.
General Overseer of Living Faith Church Worldwide, a.k.a Winners Chapel, Bishop David Oyedepo, has slammed President Bola Tinubu over the worsening insecurity and economic hardship in Nigeria.
Preaching from the pulpit, Oyedepo expressed anger over the persistent attacks and k!llings across the country.
He condemned those behind the attacks and warned that judgement is about to come.
He added that it is clear the insecurity is sponsored by powerful people and said the "bubble is about to burst".
He also prayed against destructive agents in Nigeria, "whether in power or out of power".
"The president needs to act now and stop pretending.You can't sl@ughter members of my family and expect me to pray for you. I will pray against you and your household," he said.
"Gunmen, they k!ll people every day. And government is pretending not to know what to do. I've kept quiet. When you see God keep quiet at wickedness, it's because the bubble is about to burst," he fumed.
"I have not heard any statement from government quarters against the k!llings. I'm yet to hear one, sir. Are human lives not of value anymore? And now you mustn't preach in the bus. Is that an issue? Ahn ahn? Do you think we are dummies? We kept quiet waiting for God, and God told me the bubble will burst, and when the bubble burst, no matter where you're hiding..."
