A beloved aunt has declared she will no longer cook for festive celebrations, causing family turmoil. Her decision has led to discussions about family traditions and the evolving roles during celebrations.
An X user has shared a hilarious family Christmas drama after a woman who was loved for always preparing food for the family revealed that she had spent years missing out on Christmas activities because she was in the kitchen.
According to the X user, there was another woman in the family who was "not loved that much" because she refused to be a "maid", as she reportedly put it.
The X user said the family recently had a discussion in their group chat about their Christmas experiences, including masquerades, outings, football and other activities.
However, things reportedly took an interesting turn when the woman who usually cooked for everyone sent a 10-minute voice note explaining that she had never experienced any of those activities because she was always busy making food for the family whenever they went out.
Following her revelation, the family reportedly decided that cooks would be hired every Christmas or someone else would take over the kitchen.
The "not-so-loved" wife reportedly responded with a laughing sticker.
"And there was fire on the mountain," the X user added.
