A 20-year-old Nigerian lady identified as Favour Agbro, has reportedly committed su!cide after she was allegedly r@ped by a popular content creator, Odogwu Asaba.

Activist Joe Isreal, who reported the case to the police, alleged that the accused lured the young lady to his home in Asaba under the pretext that he would teach her how to monetize her TikTok and Facebook accounts. He said that before the visit, the deceased, via WhatsApp, had told Asaba that she was a virgin and was not interested in any form of relationship with him.

Joe said that when the deceased got to his place, the suspect allegedly asked her to come into his room, and when she resisted his sexu@l advances, he allegedly r@ped her ruthlessly until she began to ble$d.

The victim reportedly called her twin sister and her mother, who then sent her money to return home.

The deceased was said to have reported the matter to an activist who asked her to forget about it as the accused is an "influential person." According to Joe, out of frustration, Favour bought a poisonous substance, drank it, and passed away.

In a followup post, Joe disclosed that the suspect had been arrested by the police.

In a chat with LIB, the spokesperson of the Delta state police command, SP Bright Edafe, confirmed the suspect has been arrested and is in police custody, adding that further details on the case will be disclosed by the Commissioner of Police.
