When it is time to fight for the week, let us come to the battle with confidence and courage in our hearts, knowing that it is God who will actually work through us to accomplish the desired result. Our faith in God must be unflinching; just like the example of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. Their lives were threatened because they openly demonstrated faith in God. When the die was cast, these three Hebrew boys kept their confidence in God and said to the king,

Daniel 3:16-18 ... O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter. If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.

And God indeed arose and defended the three Hebrew boys. They were cast into the fiery furnace, but they came out unhurt.
