Pastor Edidiong Sylvester has stirred online discussions after sharing a peculiar incident involving a bird he claims was divinely restrained by God. The Nigerian cleric took to social media to express his gratitude, posting images of the bird he described as one that 'cries at midnight' and is often linked to malevolent forces.

In his post, Sylvester recounted an experience while driving along the Calabar bypass road when he spotted the bird. According to him, the bird landed directly in the path of his vehicle. He stated, "When our vehicle approached, the power of God arrested this bird and it could not leave that spot again." This dramatic assertion has led to a mix of reactions from his followers and the wider online community.

The pastor elaborated on the bird's significance, suggesting it is commonly used for dark purposes. He emphasized his belief in the protective power of God, declaring, "Whatever the enemies have programmed against you this remaining months of the year, I declare HOLY GHOST FIRE." He quoted Psalm 110:1-2 to reinforce his message of divine strength and protection.

Sylvester's testimony has sparked a debate about the intersection of faith, superstition, and the supernatural in contemporary Nigerian society. Many followers have expressed their support, while others have raised questions about the implications of attributing such events to divine intervention.

As the story continues to circulate, it highlights the ongoing fascination with spiritual encounters and the role of religious figures in interpreting unusual phenomena. The pastor's post serves as a reminder of the diverse beliefs that shape the cultural landscape in Nigeria, where spiritual narratives often intertwine with everyday experiences.
