Actress Selma Blair has been issued a temporary restraining order requiring her to maintain a distance of at least 100 yards from nurse Ashley DeLeo, following an alleged assault that occurred during a Delta flight. The order, which is effective until October 11, 2027, was mandated by a judge after Blair's arrest related to the incident.

According to reports from law enforcement sources, the actress was taken into custody on Sunday night after an altercation with flight crew members on a journey from Los Angeles to New York. Following the flight's landing, she was transported to a hospital for treatment. It was during this time that Blair allegedly kicked DeLeo in the chest, prompting the legal action.

Blair was arraigned on Monday night and has pleaded not guilty to two felony assault charges. The charges include one related to DeLeo and another involving a Port Authority police officer. Her attorney has suggested that the incident may have been influenced by Blair's missed medication, which could have contributed to her behavior during the flight.

Prior to the incident, Blair had shared her emotional state on social media, expressing feelings of sadness and discomfort, stating that she was not feeling "great." This context may provide insight into the actress's actions leading up to the altercation.

The legal restrictions placed on Blair highlight the seriousness of the allegations against her and the ongoing legal proceedings she faces as a result of this incident. The situation continues to develop as both the actress and her legal team prepare to address the charges in court.
