In a significant operation, the Delta State Command Anti-Cult Unit (CACU) has apprehended a man identified as Chukwuka Nzete, also known as 'Ododo', for allegedly engaging in the illegal sale of firearms while posing as a native doctor. The arrest took place in Isupe Community, located in the Ndokwa West Local Government Area of Delta State.

According to SP Bright Edafe, the spokesperson for the Delta State Police Command, Nzete was found operating a shrine where he reportedly fortified individuals suspected of criminal activities. This revelation raises concerns about the intersection of traditional practices and criminal undertakings in the region.

During a search of Nzete's residence, law enforcement officials recovered a variety of weapons, including one pump-action gun, four dagger knives, and one battle axe. Additionally, officers discovered pots containing substances believed to be charms, further indicating the suspect's involvement in activities beyond mere arms trafficking.

Nzete has since been taken into custody, and investigations are ongoing to determine the full scope of his operations and any potential connections to other criminal networks. The police are particularly focused on uncovering whether he collaborated with other individuals involved in illegal arms trade or other forms of organized crime.
