The National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF) has officially suspended its planned strike action after reaching an agreement with the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) and the Maritime Police Command. This decision comes in response to ongoing issues surrounding the blockage of containers at various Nigerian ports, which had been a significant point of contention for freight forwarders.

Alhaji Ibrahim Tanko, the National Coordinator of the NAGAFF 100% Compliance Team, confirmed the suspension of the strike, stating that the agreement with the NPA and the police aims to facilitate smoother operations at the ports. The blockage of containers had caused considerable delays and frustrations among freight operators, impacting the supply chain and trade activities.
