A Nigerian lady has called out a private hospital in Egbeda after alleging that a doctor gave her a dismissive response when she returned to the facility after her condition failed to improve following treatment.
According to her, she visited the hospital after feeling unwell and was diagnosed with typhoid and malaria after undergoing several tests.
She said the doctor offered her two treatment options: admission at N100,000 or outpatient treatment at N50,000. She opted for the cheaper option and was given medication to take for three days.
However, she claimed that after completing the treatment, she still felt unwell and returned to the hospital after experiencing weakness and feeling like she might faint.
