Nigerian music executive DapperDam has publicly addressed allegations made against him by artists Seyi Vibez, Shallipopi, and T.I Blaze concerning their contractual relationships and financial dealings. In a series of posts on his official X handle on August 15, 2026, DapperDam firmly denied the claims and asserted that the truth could be verified through existing records.

DapperDam challenged the artists to submit their contracts and financial records for independent audits, emphasizing his commitment to transparency. He stated, "I will not demean myself by disrespecting the one thing I stand on, which is my love for music. So I won’t stoop so low as to engage in insults. I have nothing to hide. The records exist. The authorities have them. Let the process establish the truth."

The music executive expressed frustration over what he described as misleading narratives being spread online. He urged the artists to move on, asserting that their departure from his label had not adversely affected him. "You chose to leave! No one forced you, and we are still fine without you! Move on! Stop acting obsessed!" he remarked.

In his response, DapperDam highlighted the origins of their professional relationship, which he claimed began in 2021 when he provided funding for their first project before receiving any music in return. He questioned the artists' claims, stating, "So who made who? God made me, nigga! Dapper Damm, Son of God!"

He also referred to Shallipopi as "Mr. Elon" and mentioned that an audit had already been conducted by a reputable firm. DapperDam challenged the artists to pursue another independent review, suggesting firms such as KPMG, PwC, and Deloitte for a forensic analysis of their accounts and contracts. "Surprise surprise, who owes who?" he added, indicating that the findings would support his case.

Additionally, DapperDam addressed a specific claim regarding a missed appearance, asserting that he attended the event in question while Shallipopi did not. "For our last scheduled appearance, you didn’t show up, nigga. I was there, but you wanna come online and say, ‘let’s meet in court’, when you’re the one running from court," he stated.

Concluding his remarks, DapperDam reiterated that the necessary records were available and that appropriate processes were already in motion to resolve the disputes. "I have said what I need to say. The records are available. The appropriate processes are ongoing," he wrote, leaving the door open for further verification of his claims.
